1) Doug Stokes, PR/Media Director for Irwindale Speedway is looking for Car Clubs in the Southern California area, and beyond, who would like to exhibit their cars at Irwindale's Saturday night races and other events.  Some of the benefits are: 1) free admission for the driver, one passenger and car, 2) an opportunity to do a "Victory Lap" around the track in front of all the fans right before the races begin, 3) your club representative will be interviewed during the "Victory Lap" by announcer Bruce Flanders, discussing your club's activities, aims and cars, 4) a place to show off your cars in the Irwindale Speedway Chalet Village area and to pass out your club literature to attract new members, and 5) get to see the races and have some Saturday night fun.  Contact Doug and get on his schedule.  Once on the schedule the club members and cars must arrive at 3:30pm on your assigned Saturday, parked in your special place as the gates open for spectators at 4pm. If you wish to bring more than the 2 free passes per car, then you can purchase additional tickets at half-off the regular ticket price.  Doug Stokes can be reached at 626-358-1100 x206
